Script Text

Satan is the bad spirit; his road is always bad. God is the good spirit, His road is always good. At first we all walk Satan's road. When we want to follow God, we must leave Satan's road and walk God's road. We can walk God's road carefully, or we can walk it badly. One day Jesus told His friends how to walk God's road well.

Jesus told this story.

Two men built their houses beside a river. One man dug deep. He dug deep till he got to the rock. He worked very hard. He worked for many days. His house was strong because he built it carefully. It was on the rock. The other man built his house quickly. He did not dig deep, because it was hard work.

He finished his house quickly. It was not strong. It was not on the rock. One day the big rains came. The river went under the houses. One house was strong. It was built on the rock. It was all right. The other house was not strong. It was not on the rock. The river went under it. It fell down.

The river carried it away because it was not strong.

Jesus said, "You know God's way. You hear God's Word. If you only hear, you will not be strong. If you want to be strong you must do what God says. If you do not do what God says, you will be like the house on the ground. When trouble comes you will be weak. You will fall." Do you want to be strong?

You listen to God's Word. You do what God says. Listen and do. Listen and DO.

Many people hear God's Word every Sunday, but they are not strong. They are not strong because they only hear what God says. They do not do what God says. We must listen and do. Listen and do.

What are some of the things God wants us to do? God wants us to leave Satan's road and walk His road. We can walk God's road because Jesus died for us. We must leave the old road, and the old ways, finish! It is no good to walk God's road one day and Satan's road another day. We must leave Satan's road, finish! We must walk the new road every day. We must stop telling lies and getting angry. We must stop stealing and talking bad talk. We must pray to Jesus often. He always listens to us. If we pray often He will make us strong. Jesus loves us all. He will help us to do what God says. He will help us to be strong.

Pray like this: "Lord Jesus, thank You, You always hear me. Thank you, You are very strong. Help me to do what God says. Make me strong like the house on the rock."
