Script Text
Greetings,
Have you heard about God, the Creator of all things? He is the One who made the earth and sky, and everything in it. He did not have to work to do it. He just spoke. He said, "Let there be light. Let there be earth and sky," and it was made.
God, the Creator, made the whole world, and it belongs to Him, because He made it.
He made the mountains and trees, the animals and birds, the water and the fish. He made the sky and clouds, the moon and stars. He made it all.
God, the Creator, is altogether good. He never does evil. There is no evil in Him. He hates evil.
No one made God. He had no beginning. He was always there. He did not have a mother or a father. God was not born and He will never die. God does not get tired. He does not sleep. He does not grow old.
God, the Creator, does not change. He is always good.
Sometimes a man takes a piece of wood or stone. He carves it into a figure of a man, or a bird or animal. Then he makes it his god. He bows down to it and makes sacrifices to it.
Can a piece of wood or stone hear? Can it talk? Can it walk? Can it come to you when you are in trouble? Evil spirits try to deceive us. They try to make us think foolishly, that a piece of wood or stone is a god.
Listen! The Creator God is alive. He can see. He can hear. He can speak. He can go wherever He wants to. He does not need help. This Creator God is greater than all gods. He is the One who made all things, everywhere. He says this, "I am God and there is no one else."
God, the Creator is great. He can be everywhere at once. He has all power. He can hold the lightning in His hand. God made everything-the whole big world, and sky.
He can touch the sun and it can't burn Him. He made it. He can walk on the waters. They can't swallow Him. He made the waters. He made the wind and the storms, and they can't stop Him.
The Creator God is stronger than a volcano or an earthquake. He made them all. He made the many, many stars and He knows all their names.
God is greater than all the chiefs and tribes in the earth. He says they are so small they are like the small dust of the air! That's how great He is.
He is master (chief) of all because He made them and they belong to Him.
Listen! There is more. God can see all things. God can see in the dark at night. He can see the animals-the foxes in their dens and the mice in their holes, and the fish in the deep water. He can see the tops of the mountains and the caves under the ground.
God can hear everything. He can hear the snake move through the grass; and the ants building their house in the ground. He can hear a man whispering to another.
No one can hide from God. He can see you wherever you go.
God, the Creator, knows all things. He is wiser than all the wise men of the world. He cannot be fooled or tricked by witchdoctors or evil spirits, or Satan.
God does not make mistakes. He knows all things. He knows all about you. He knows when you are sad, or afraid. He knows when you think evil thoughts.
God, our Creator, is a loving God. He loves all people-all men and women, young people and old people, children and babies. He wants all people to know that He is a loving God, and absolutely good. He wants you to know that He hates wickedness and evil.
He wants all people to love Him, and to repent of their bad ways. He wants all people to turn away from their idols and false gods, and worship Him only. He is the one true God Who made all things.
*After God made the earth and all things, He created the first man and woman. They were good and God loved them. He made a beautiful garden for them to live in, and trees with delicious fruit to eat.
The man was called Adam. The woman was called Eve. God loved them, and they loved God. He taught them how to live in the garden and what to do, and they were happy because they did what God told them to do.
Do you want to know more about this Creator God who loves you? Do you want to belong to Him? Listen, and I will tell you more.
[NOTE TO RECORDIST: This is Part One of a two-part series. To continue, record script 406 next, “Adam’s Sin and God’s Forgiveness (Formerly Attributes of God, Part 2)”. Or, if you are recording the New Evangelistic Series, next record script 238, Creation and Fall. If you do not want to record either one of these, you can omit the last two paragraphs that lead in to the story of Adam and Eve, which start with the asterisk (*), “After God made the earth…”.]
