Love is well known to man. A good husband does everything he can to prove his love for his family.
God is our Creator who loves us very much. He shows us His love by giving us rain and sunshine, and all that we need for this earthly life.
Even though He gives us these things, He is still sad, for all have sinned, and thus can have no fellowship with Him, for, "The wages of sin is death." The darkness in us causes us to make many excuses and we way that we are not sinners. So, "WE deceive ourselves." Sometimes there are people who are good, that is, true; or there are people who commit little sins; while others commit great sins. In God's sight, "There is no difference, for all have sinned." A dog is not a dog because it barks. It is a dog because it was born a dog. And because it is a dog, it barks.
"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Yes, Jesus came to save you and me. By the grace of God I have been saved by the Lord Jesus. He can do the same for you, my brother and sister. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, and your house."
